We are creating a Make a Field Guide wizard, which takes the XML from a database of birds of north america bird (for example):<br>

and an XSLT style sheet and generates a PDF which is suitable for printing out. The part I need help with is creating the XSLT. I have a simple HTML page design for the guide pages. I would like someone to help me understand how I use SS to convert my HTML page to a XSLT sheet that has the proper tags that are on our species pages as in the above link.<br>
<br>
Thanks for any help you can offer me.<br>
A spec for the wizard is attached.

Hi,
Excellent site by the way.
I can't help directly I'm afraid but would if I had time. But your idea would make an excellent final year project for one of my students.
There would be no cost but no guarantees either! IPR would probably be shared, i.e. we'd give you the code to do your bit so long as we could carry on developing the ideas ourselves. Basically, I would not be interested in money changing hands either way.
From the looks of the spec it's a job for XQuery as well as XSLT. I would be interested to know which web service platform you are using and, more to the point, what servelet engine.

Unfortunately I need this sooner than your students can get to it and I need a real consultant who can work for me for a fee, so this won't work. I appreciate the offer.
