Thomas Villadsen posted this in the FAQ section on Nov 1,
but there were no answers.

I was going to reply with a "me too", but I couldn't
figure how how to reply or post there, so thought I would post here.

I see about a 2% to 4% CPU utilization in Task Manager.
I was wondering why my fan was on so much of the day.

Which Stylus Studio version are you running?
Which editor are you using?
Does it happen when there is no document active?

Version 6.0, Build 212e

If I put it in the background it hovers around 1-2%.
Having it in the foreground jumps a little because it
reacts strongly to any cursor movement.

If I move the move the mouse/cursor around wildly
(or even kind of slowly)
over Stylus Studio - CPU goes to about 17 to 29%.
Same thing in MS/Word, CPU goes to about 3%.

Number of files loaded seems to have no impact.
So me-thinks it is related to the graphics.

Do you not see the same impact on your machine?
I have 2 Ghz, Pentium IV Laptop, 1.5Ghz RAM, XP PRO.
