Ranjan BaisakSubject: Stylus studio 5.1 gives java.lang.classNotFoundException:http://exlt.org.common
Author: Ranjan Baisak

Hello Group,
I am using node-set function from http://exlt.org.common namespace to convert
RTF(Result Tree Fragment) into NodeSet. It works fine with xalan during runtime transformation.But
When I am trying to run in stylus studio it gives exception as mentioned in subject line.
Any help to run the stylesheet?

regards,
Ranjan

Ranjan,

To use EXSLT you need to select XalanJ or Saxon.
Click on the ... button in the toolbar then click on the processor tab.

I tried the following test with both processors and seems to work fine

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
xmlns:exslt="http://exslt.org/common"
extension-element-prefixes="exslt">

<!-- Test exslt:node-set applied to a result tree fragment -->
<xsl:variable name="tree">
<a>
<b>
<c>
<d/>
</c>
</b>
</a>
</xsl:variable>

<xsl:template match="/">
<out>
<xsl:value-of select="count(exslt:node-set(//*))"/>
</out>
</xsl:template>

</xsl:stylesheet>
