Review attached file

The working file is not properly highlighted in the treeview control?

I am working in temporary file called "xcxcxc" and the file that
has the focus in the treeview is entitled "settingschema2"

Peter,

The project selection and the active document are not synchronized by design.
You would get a very annoying flickering effect if at every document switch the selection was updated.

A toolbar button to perform the synchronization could be a good compromise.

Thank You for the suggestion, I am adding it to our PCRs.

Ivan,

we are on different wave lengths.

As the picture I provided shows.

If an working in file "xcxc" then I expect that to also be highlighted
in the left hand side tree control.

In the picture provided the file that is highlighted in the left
hand tree is "settingschema2".

I do not see this as synchronisation, more just about focus.
