Ian SmithSubject: XML from CSV Wizard
Author: Ian Smith

Hi.

I've just started to evaluate Stylus Studio and, speaking as a registered XML Spy user, I am very impressed, especially with the documentation.

I'm particularly interested in the features that XML Spy doesn't offer like XML to XML mapping and importing from CSV files.

It's the latter I have a problem with. Once I click OK in the wizard, I get the message:

Can't find class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError. (Wrong class path?)

I added the \bin\lib\sonic directory onto the classpath in the Java Virtual Machine, Java Compiler and External JVM options but that didn't make any difference.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks, Ian.

Can you give us more details about what Stylus Studio version/build you are
using and what JVM version you are running? You'll find that information in
Help|About.

Thanks,
Minollo

I'm using Sonic Studio version 4.6, build 103v.

Looking at the JVM revealed that:

Java Virtual Machine boot lib C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.2\lib\rt.jar not found

I don't know how I lost this file but installing it from another machine cured the problem.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Ian.
