I'm building an xml doc in vb.net, and have an xsd. The reason I'd like to check the schema or have it automatically error is because I'm looping through a list of properties that can change over time, and my schema is what I want to build to, skipping anything not in the schema.

But VB questions are pretty far off. You might want to try a
Microsoft-specific forum.
