Subject:Doubt Feature of Stylus Author:Rohan Priya Date:21 Mar 2005 08:03 AM
Hi
This is with respect to the feature in stylus . It says it provides
shared and private docking areas. What does that mean , can you'll
illustrate it by an example.
Thanks
Ann Rohan
All that the phrase means is that some of the informational windows
are dockable, and some are shared between plugins. So, for example,
you can have the "Properties" window as a docked window, or undock it
and have it float - which is especially useful if you have a multi-
monitor setup.
By shared/private, it means that some of the windows are private, in
that they only apply to a certain type of module within Stylus, whereas
others, like the Properties window, are shared by multiple plugins and
change their content to match whatever document has focus.
