I can't see any problem in using the vertical scroll bar of the XSLT text
editor while debugging... is it disabled for you? Does it become enabled
once debugging is over?

If the "call stack" window is visible (View | Call Stack), you can just
click on the top line of the call stack and you will be brought back to the
current line.
