If I save a file in the preview window I can not read it in IE6 as the encoding seems to be wrong. If I then open the file in Stylus and then save it again everything is ok.
I have generated the file from Saxon externally. As I find the internal version puts namespace defintions on each and every element.

We'll look into this.

I tend to think this is a matter of different Saxon version rather than
internal vs. external; the internal version uses Saxon 6.5.2

For the record, this is fixed. 4.5 release will contain the fix.
