I have a "normal" XML file which I am trying to convert to an output text or CSV file. I have to remove the XMLNS naming from the file in order to allow the output to be written as a text/csv file.
Attached is the "normal" XML, a "doctored" version that works and the XSL. Thanks, martyn

The attached is a generic transform which turns any 3 level XML hierarchy into flat file.

We do offer a commercial XML to CSV converter which provides more features. Have a look at our XML Pipeline Server

Hi again,

Thanks for the generic XML to CSV routine. When I attempt to run it against the relevant XML file I now get the error msg as seen in the attached. The "failure point" is the tag immediately above the error msg. Is this because the filed has an xsi:nil="true" tag associated?

In fact, I've tried files without any xsi:nil="true" fields and the XSL give the same result!

Did you copy & paste the XSLT code from the browser?

You should rather right click on the link and save it.

I would not have expected that result, but yes, I had copied the file from the browser. Have now saved and it works, many thanks Ivan. regards
