I am trying to create a conversion file to convert a flat file to XML.
Below is the format of the flat file.With in each record it is Fixed Length.I am trying to figure the right approach for this type of file.
Please point me in the right direction. I have attached a sample file.

SCTRL => Start of Control Groups
JDE export data
CTRLH => Control Group Header records
JDE export data
CKHDR => Check Header record
TOF OWAPCHK
JDE Check Header export data line #1
JDE Check Header export data line #2
JDE Check Header export data line #3
JDE Check Header export data line #4

CKDET => Check detail records
