Hi i am new to xsl ...
i have xml with this
<userRegions>
<userRegion>
<regionname>NSW</regionname>
<regionId>440</regionId>
</userRegion>
<userRegion>
<regionname>Sydney</regionname>
<regionId>441</regionId>
</userRegion>
<userRegion>
<regionname>Victoria</regionname>
<regionId>450</regionId>
</userRegion>
<userRegion>
<regionname>Melbourne</regionname
<regionId>451</regionId>
</userRegion>
<userRegion>
<regionname>Tasmania</regionname>
<regionId>460</regionId>
</userRegion>
</userRegions>

i want to put this in drop down list by using xsl ...
pls help me
what i am doing is

Region :<select name="region">
<xsl:for-each select="/userRegions/userRegion">
<option>
<xsl:value-of select="regionname"/>
</option>
</xsl:for-each>
</select>

and the out come is in html is

<option>Aberdeen</option>
<option>Aberdeen</option>

<option>Birmingham</option>
<option>Birmingham</option>
</select>
wht is need is <option value="1">Aberdeen</option>
