I just installed Stylus Studio Enterprise Edition 2006, Release 2 yesterday.

When I try to run an XSLT transformation using Saxon 8.7, I get this error:

"javax.xml.parsers.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider org.apache.crimson.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl not found"

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this?

Hi Don,

Could you please tell us what you have in the Java Virtual Machine settings (Tools->Options)?

What build are you running (Help->About)?

I suspect you have something in the system classpath that is interfering. Could you please try to rename ${classpath} to ${__classpath__} then re-start Stylus Studio?

Could you please tell us what is the value of your CLASSPATH system variable?

type the following command at the DOS prompt

echo %CLASSPATH%

Your CLASSAPTH includes an old version of Saxon
C:\workspace\programs\saxon653\saxon.jar

preventing the newer Saxon to work correctly.
