In my xml file the last question will be "How many hours did you save...." if this question is present, it will be the last one, and will need to have a different Header (column name), so I think my test will be something like if element <numeric_average> is greater than zero, I will want to print this question, and the <numeric_average> with a column heading of Avg # of hours Saved instead of "Percentage Satisfied" I will attach the xml and xsl and what the report should look like.

I'm not sure I understand what's your problem in doing that.

You can use <xsl:choose> to create conditional branches based on XPath expressions (in xsl:when sub-elements)...

You have one already in your XSLT file, an <xsl:choose> with <xsl:when> and <xsl:otherwise> branches...
