I am using SS EE build 377m.

If I make a modification to a *.xslt file after a debugging session SS gives me an error message on an attemp to save *.xslt file to disk.

The error message is in the attachment.

Regards,
Yitzhak

Hi Yitzhak,

Did you get error when debugging the XSLT?

Which XSLT processor are you using?

Which .NET Framework versions are installed in your system?

Thank You
Ivan

Yes, it is happening when I am done with the debugging session.

I am using .NET xml parser.
My .NET version is 1.1 SP1.
To confirm, mscoree.dll has 1.1.4322.2032 version

Yitzhak,

We are not able to reproduce the problem, any additional detail could help.

Are you working with files on a remote machine?

Are you sure that before running the debugger you can change the file and save it?

Does it happen with other XSLT processors?

Ivan

Okay, I am sending you my files:
2 XSLT files and one XML file (please see attachment).

You should select MSN_WowAttributes in the scenario properties.

As I see, just an XSLT extender function is something unusual.
Maybe it causing the problem.

My exact steps to reproduce the problem:
1) I put a breakpoint at <xsl:call-template name="WatchTemplate">
2) I launch debugger for a few loops, including F11 steps.
3) I stop debugger pressing 'stop debugging (Shift-F5) button on the toolbar.
4) I make a textual change to the XSLT file.
5) I am trying to save adjusted XSLT file.
6) The error pops up.
</>

Regards,
Yitzhak

Thank You!

It is stop debugging to leave the XSLT file locked.
It will be fixed in the next update.

Ivan
