version 6.1, build 287e
Updateing to the latest version doesn't seem to work.

On the toolbar,
Help->Technical Support -- does nothing
Help->Check for latest version -- doesn't seem to update the program
Help->About Stylus Studio -- the links come back with
"Unable to open hyperlink: The specified path was not found"

I'm assuming this is all related.

It looks like your Stylus Studio version is unable to contact our server
(firewall settings?).

You can manually download the latest update from:
http://www.stylusstudio.com/update

That allowed me to get the update, but I still don't understand why
I can't connect to the urls under the help menu. I CAN connect to the
urls in the Stylus Studio documentation. Needless to say, I can connect
using my browser. I Can ping your web site from the Windows command
prompt.

What should I be looking for? Are there settings I can change
within Stylus Studio? Are there any other tests I can do?

As I mentioned, from your description it looks like Stylus Studio is not
allowed to contact our server URL (the Stylus Studio documentation is a
Windows Help application, which has different security settings than the
application itself).

Are you running a firewall on your machine? XP SP2? Can you check if the
firewall is excluding the Stylus Studio (struzzo.exe) application from
using the network?
