I am using build 287i.

I have witnessed a number of quotes being recursively added to my text values in the editor.

I can reproduce a symptom:
I noticed when I set a text value on a destination with the mapper, then switch to the XQuery source and go back to the mapper and review my text value - I now see extra double quotes wrapping it.

I have also noticed "& (i.e. & q u o t ; & a m p ; - without spaces) added to my xquery functions (like current-time)

Thank you for reporting the problem.

So far I have been able to replicate it only with attributes.
Could you confirm that?

A fixed is planned for the next update.

Thank you. I did some additional work on that map and noticed that XQuery functions (i.e. current-date) that are mapped to attributes seem to lose the {}.

So, subsequent revisits between the mapper and full editor turn functions into text.
