I am still searching as how to compare Flat Files to XML.
I think I found how to compare the XML to XSLT. Please

Hi Rico,

Stylus Studio 5.3 offers XML differencing tool that you can access under the Tools menu

Tools -> Show Differences In... -> Files

This feature is targeted to XML documents only.

Basically this tool does not support comparing Flat Files
to XML.

Hi Rico,

What do you mean by "compare flat files to XML"?

I am guessing two options:

1) You would like to compare two files line by line as text
Stylus doesn't support that but you can find many program utility for this purpose.

2) You would like to get a XML representation of your flat file then compare it with a XML document
In this case you could use the CSV to XML Document Wizard to transform the flat file to XML the use XML Diffs.

File ->
Document Wizard ->
XML Editor ->
CSV to XML
