Sylvain ThevozSubject: problem with Xalan processor
Author: Sylvain Thevoz

Hello,

I'm using Stylus Studio 5 and when I choose the Xalan-J processor in Scenario properties there is an error message during the transformation:
"Unable to find driver class in xalanhlp.jar".

But a jar called "xalanhlp.jar" is located in STYLUS_HOME\bin directory.

How Stylus Studio could find the class?
What is the problem?

Thanks
Sylvain

Sylvain,

Could you verify if Sun JRE 1.3 or above is installed on your system ?

Click help -> about

If the JRE has been installed after Stylus Studio you should go under
Tools -> Options -> Java Virtual Machine and click the "Auto detect"
button

Ivan

Hello Ivan,

Yes, I have the JVM 1.3.1_05 installed on my machine.
It was installed before Stylus Studio.

In Tools -> Options -> Java Virtual Machine all seems to be filled and OK.

Thanks for your help
Regards
Sylvain

Stylus Studio ships XalanJ 2.4.
At this time we do not support replacing the xalan.jar ("stylus
dir"\bin\xalan.jar).
A newer version could have changes that are not backward compatible.
