Mark NeilSubject: SS4.6 Stylesheets crashing
Author: Mark Neil
Date: 17 Mar 2003 10:41 AM
I've just upgraded from Stylus studio v4.0 to v4.6, but v4.6 frequently crashes when editing stylesheets. Have tried several different stylesheets, xml samples etc, but it always crashes after a few minutes. Log attached...

Looks like all the problems recorded in the log file happened while using
the xml-to-html wysiwyg functionality; can you confirm that?

We are studying the log files trying to understand what the problem is; it
might help if you could send us XSLT+XML files on which you see the crash
happen, and possibly the description of the operations your are doing.

Thanks,
Minollo

Yes, I was using the WYSIWYG stuff, so it's possible all the errors were related to this.
The problem wasn't consistently reproducable though, but I think once or twice it crashed while switching from Source to WYSIWYG or vice versa.
Files attached...

Hi Mark,

Please ignore my last message. I didn't see the files were attached at the bottom.

Sorry for the confusion

Hi Mark,

From the log file, it seems to me something in your file was not handled properly by stylus. Could you send me your test files (xslt and xml) so that we can investigate the crash.

Thanks,
Min
