We are looking for a tool to create XSLT which supports the user functions based on what the w3c suggested (99/10/08). I read that eXcelon Stylus will provide this in one future release. When will it be?

User extension functions in Java will not appear in the next release of Stylus. We have many other great features in planning for that release. Support for extensions is likely to appear early next year.

Stylus 2.0 (currently available) supports XSL extension functions written in Java.
