Jim AlbrightSubject: changing multiple element names at once
Author: Jim Albright
Date: 27 Dec 2002 04:42 PM
Working on TEV Bible LARGE file.

I found that one of the sections was coded wrong so tried to change the blockQuote to list in Text view(that worked great ... and having correct names drop down is good) but then I wanted to change a whole set of p's to item's and can't seem to find any way of selecting multiple elements. Seems like that would be a useful tool.

Looks like I can search tags that are selected and replace.
Well you can't make a selection in Tree view so back to Text view. Now trying to replace 'p' with 'item' in selection looking only in element tags. This is taking FOREVER. I will need to shut down the program it is taking so long. It hasn't found the first one yet. 5 minutes is long enough wait.

Thanks for the report: we were able to find the cause for the infinite
loop. The fix will be available in the next update.

Thanks,
Alberto

You mean the slowness or the hang/crash?

If the second case is true, we really need a testcase from you to be able
to reproduce the problem.

Thanks,
Minollo
