Ken AgnetaSubject: VSS Integration
Author: Ken Agneta

Hello,

I am working with the Studio product and VSS. One thing I cant find is how to automatically update a Studio Project with folders and files added to VSS. The only way I can add files and Folders from VSS to the project seems to be to add them one by one. Am I missing something? If not, may I place a feature request for this?

Thanks
Ken

Ken,
select File|Project|New Project Wizard... and then choose "Project from
SCC"; that will let you do what you are asking for.

Hope this helps,
Minollo

Hi Ken,
as a workaround, you should be able to:
- use VSS Explorer to do a "Get Latest Version" so that you have all the
files on the local hard disk
- add these files to the Stylus Studio project (by selecting them in
Windows Explorer and dragging them into the project pane); at this point
Stylus Studio should be able to recognize the newly added files as "under
source control"

Hope this helps,

Alberto

Awsome, thank you that is alot simpler then adding the files one by one. But it would be nice to see a "Re-sync with VSS" type feature if it is possible in the future.

Love the product by the way.

Ken
