I am making an xquery and want to make a calculation (multiply) with two nodes in the input-file and place the result in a node in the target file.

????

What is the problem? 27*87 is a valid XQuery.
<test>{/books/book[1]/price * /books/book[1]/quantity}</test>
...is too...
