There are no plans for improvements to the XML-to-HTML XSLT WYSIWYG module at this point.

The new XML Publisher editor introduced in Stylus Studio 2007 supports visual creation of HTML and PDF based reports for XQuery 1.0, XSLT 1.0 and XSLT 2.0; have you tried it? Video tutorials and additional information can be found at: http://www.stylusstudio.com/xml/publishing.html

Hi Victoria,

Unfortunately there is no plan to update the XML to HTML WYSIWYG view to support XSLT 2.0.

XML Publisher supports XSLT 2.0 code generation, give it a try it may help to accelerate the learning process.
