Does StylusStudio support editing xml files in place while viewing with an ad-hoc xslt?

I'm a developer myself and have considered making a browser plugin or extension to accomplish this, but haven't figured out how to do it yet.

Second, would StylusStudio support such a plug-in, or what would it take technically to allow it to do this?

Thanks,

XForm does something similar what you have described, please have a look to FormsPlayer

Hope this helps

Thanks alot for your reply Ivan. I'm currently joining the formsPlayer yahoo group and planning to pose the question in that forum. To be honest, I still don't see how I'll be able to accomplish what I was hoping to with XForms, but it sounds promising.

Incase I didn't make myself clear in the first post, I'm hoping to find a tool which will allow me to view an xml document (as it would look in a browser after an xslt html transformation occurred) and also be able to edit the xml content from the same view.

Thanks,

I thought you were looking for some form like XML editing.
XForm let you bind one or more nodes via XPath to a visual control like an editor or a list or datetime control.

Would you consider the Stylus Studio XML editor?

Ivan,

I've tried out Stylus and really like its features. While it gives you the ability to jump to an xml document just after viewing it with an xslt, it doesn't allow you to edit the xml while viewing the xslt output. That is what I really want, the ability to edit xml while looking at xslt output, without having to jump over to a view of the raw xml.

I'll have to look more into XForms to discover if it will do the job.
