Did you have a JVM installed before upgrading the system?
In any case, if you don't have a java.exe executable in the
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 directory, you need to install one JVM (1.3 or 1.4, as
you prefer)

Hi Raúl,
I understand from your message that you saw the same error that Gary had,
even after installing the JVM 1.4.
If you installed the JVM *after* installing Stylus Studio, you need to go
to Tools | Options | Java Virtual Machine, then check the "Enabled" check
box and press the "Auto detect" button.
Let us know if this fixes your problem
