I believe that only covers XSLT 1.0 (and I think it is very much a
beginner's introduction).

I would suggest either my own book:

XSLT 2.0 and XPath 2.0 Programmer's Reference (Programmer to Programmer)
(4th edition)

Jeni's is more of a tutorial, mine is a comprehensive reference.
