On web page

http://saxon.sourceforge.net/

it is written that the current version of Saxon is v9.1.0.7

However on page:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/saxon/

I can download an "InstantSaxon v6.5.2"

What are the differences ?

Saxon 9 supports XSLT and XPath 2.0 and XQuery 1.0.

Saxon 6.5 supports XSLT and XPath 1.0. I think the Instant Saxon release was meant to be used on Windows platforms that had the Microsoft Java VM that is no longer supported and distributed by Microsoft. See http://saxon.sourceforge.net/saxon6.5.3/instant.html for details.
