For UI responsiveness and solid well-focussed features I agree you
can't beat the the VS XSLT UI (it still lacks some of the glitz and
peripheral features of the other tools though).

For info, the XML Team were doing an onling survey in September,
asking questions such as 'Should VS2008 support multiple XSLT
processors?' (I'm paraphrasing here), so maybe there's some hope for
the future.

Some time ago, Oxygen did have reported issues with XML files that
contained no line feeds (see Jeni Tennison's blog:
http://www.jenitennison.com/blog/node/41), I'm guessing this should be
fixed by now.
