you can't test for teh stylesheet defined function at compile time, but
you can at run time, using function-available in an xsl:when test for
example.
But something like this...
<xsl:if test="function-available('ns:fname')">
<xsl:value-of select="ns:fname()"/>
</xsl:if>
throws a static error, if ns:fname() doesn't exist, so using
function-available in the xsl:if does me no good...
I suppose I could do something with evaluate(). But that will make my
parameter passing even messier.
