(just kidding, but it's true and an easy to grasp example) :-)

You need to use two consecutive sort statements:

<xsl:sort select="deptno" order="ascending"/>
<xsl:sort select="job" order="ascending"/>

The default ordering is ascending. So you can just write:

<xsl:sort select="deptno" />
<xsl:sort select="job" />
