Just delete the [?] the template matching match="persoonsgegevens[1]"
has a higher default priority than one matching match="persoonsgegevens"
so you don't need to explicitly exclude position 1 in the second
template. See, despite the subject line, you are looking at XSLT match
patterns, not XPath expressions (which are used in select attrbutes).
to select all but the first of something go
select="something[position()!=1]" but you don't need that here.
