most likely the parameters do not have the values that you expect, but
as you have not shown how you set them we can not say. Can't even run
your template as posted as // is not XSLT comment syntax.

Of course it doesn't matter for xslt but font is a deprecated element in
html.

Try adding

[<xsl:copy-of select=$optcorrectno"/>][<xsl:copy-of select=$optposition"/>]

to your template and see what values they have.
