Actually, it is not appropriate to post schema related questions here 
unless they are about the intersection of schema and XSL. (Keeping 
on topic is part of what makes this list an "excelent, one-of-a-kind, 
superb list" as you put it yourself.)

Please keep postings to XSL-List to questions about XSL, XSLT, and XSL-FO. 
That's a broad enough scope for us.
