french number format
if format-number doesn't do what you want, then it's sometimes easier to
just use the standard format and change things using translate.
In this case if you format it using the default , separator and . for
decimal point you want to change , to #160 and . to , so
translate(format-number(. . . ),',.','&#160;,')
