Hallo folks,

if I may contribute a suggestion to my own question:

Instead of
=====
<xsl:element name="$nodename">
... anything ...
</xsl:element>
=====

write

=====
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"><</xsl:text>
<xsl:value-of select="$pkt"/>
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
... anything ...
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"></</xsl:text>
<xsl:value-of select="$pkt"/>
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
=====

It seems to work, but the solution lets stand my hair on end.

I hope there is a decent solution to my problem?

Best regards,
Norbert
