<> <teaser>
SAS® Enables Finnish Insurer
you could have said that in your priginal posting as that explains why you are writing out to a file. Given thant input (it's best just not to have the CDATA section if you can control the input) writing out to a file and reading it back is one way to parse the text, although you may find that the system has a moredirect parsing extension (saxon has for example) > But it does not process it. it does process it but it is a single text nodes, there are no p (or otehr element) nodes, that is what CDATA means.
