pseudocode for date
Two ways that I can think of to do this...

http://www.exslt.org

make your own template that enumerates through all months.. i.e.:


if (substring(date, 6,2) = 01)
	month = 'January'

This is just pseudocode, but you get the idea.  I would go with exslt if
at all possible.
