So, does anyone have any advice or experience they might wish to share? Is there any significant advantage in using XSL's columns over its tables for layout purposes in a print document?

You cannot flow text from one column to another within a table, so if you need that your only choice is columns.

However, you can only have one set of columns--there's currently no notion of columns w/in columns in the sense of flowing columsn, as opposed to a multi-column table.

You will have to provide a few more details about your page layout requirements I'm afraid.

Cheers,

Eliot
