Sorry about that, it was working fine, i was being an idiot and i forgot that they were being put in a table without <tr> and <td> tags so they seemed to appear as a list at the top when infact they were integrated properly in the code!!

The for-each's you showed appeared to have the inner for-each
outputting the data after each heading producing the result you wanted
not the result you say you've got. But as always without a sample input
and a runnable test xsl file it's hard to guess.
