This is a FAQ. ' is reported by the XML parser as a ' so match="//subjectterm[text()='Employees' rights and obligations']" is reported to the XSLT engine as //subjectterm[text()='Employees' rights and obligations' which is an Xpath pattern syntax error. (Also you don't ever want to start a pattern with // but that's not the issue here) To get a ' into a an Xpath string you need to use " to delimit the string so that's //subjectterm[text()="Employees' rights and obligations" which you can then put into XMl as match="//subjectterm[text()="Employees' rights and obligations"]" or match='//subjectterm[text()="Employees' rights and obligations"]' David ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star Internet.
