 Hi Michael, What do you mean that the blank lines will be added by some other process?? Do you have a concreate example for my lack of understanding? If the XSLT processor has inserted blank lines before the XML declaration, this is a serious bug (which processor is it?). It seems more likely to me that the blank lines have been added by some other process, external to the XSLT processor.
