Look into the log files of Cocoon. Add a string to search for in your
XSLT, some thing like
<xsl:message> <xsl:text>search string: abcdefgh</xsl:text> <!-- your normal message output --> </xsl:message> In one of the logs you will find an exception thwrown by <xsl:message/> and you will find it faster by searching for 'abcdefgh'.
