placing input from a web form into XML "database" file

I am interested in knowing whether or not Sablotron
would be able to take the input from a web form and
pass it through to an XML "database" file.

If this is possible I would presume it would be
done by using an array. Can anyone diagram the
process for me and identify what is needed?
