the script is just a block of text as far as xsl is concerned, it doesn't need to know it's javascript. So as in any other text blocaks you can use <xsl:value-of select="$x"/> or at least you could do if you removed the <![CDATA section. Unless your script has < or & in it the CDATA isn't doing anything anyway.
