RE: xpointers with xsl

thanx for the suggetions,
this is the sample scenario ,
'xmlfile1.xml' will contain specific data items for client 1. 
(will include all user-defined data for the client1)
'xmlfile1.xm2' will contain specific data items for client 2.
(will include all user-defined data for the client2)
and so on..

the process1 generates a dynamic xml file (say dynamicxml.xml). this
'dynamicxml.xml' uses 'xsl1.xsl' for the transformation. (in to HTML)
now, what we want to do is,
client1 needs to customise their output, as they specifyied in
'xmlfile1.xml' , along with the output produces by the process1.

is it possible to include xpointers in to xsl?
if it is so, pls provide me some examples or any reference materials?

or otherwise, can u suggess another possible way to do it? 
(it is better if u can provide me some example codes..)

It's not exactly enough written for me, but do you think XSLT + XPath with 
document() can not do the same? You need a XInclude///XPointer transformer 
for your way. I don't know whether there is a client one, I only know Cocoon
