Hi Brad,

The way I've been doing it is with an entity entitled nbsp:

<nbsp/>

The reason I'm using this is because XML Schema doesn't work too well
(at all?) with character entities.

<xsl:template match="nbsp">
  <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">&amp;nbsp;</xsl:text>
</xsl:template>
