I've got other bugs showing up with 2.2.D11 that I haven't had time to
chase.  I found a work around by restructuring the templates and the
external file a bit, so I'm ok for the moment.  I'm going to try to move to
2.2.D11 once more next week, if the problem persists I'll query here once
more.

Hello Peter,

there was a param-bug in Xalan in version 2.2.D6 I think. Test it with the
current version 2.2.D11.
