Well thanks a lot. Storing the structure in a variable works fine, but we need to pass the stored structure on to a following ASP- page. We first thought that it would be best to use the variable in an hidden field as follows: ..... <form action="http://localhost/XToolbox/processForm.asp" method="post" > ..... <xsl:variable name="xf" select="//xform:instance/*"/> <input type="hidden" name="instance"> <xsl:attribute name="value"> <xsl:value-of select="$xf"/> </xsl:attribute> </input> ..... But this idea doesn't really work out. Is there any possibility to pass the <instance> structure on to the ASP-page, when the form is submitted? <xform:instance> > <data> > <name/> > <lastname/> > <tel.number/> > <birthdate> > <day/> > <month/> > <year/> > </birthdate> > </data> > </xform:instance> > Yours, Roman > Roman Huditsch (RH ) > _____________________________________________________________________ > hico Informations- und Kommunikations-Management Gesellschaft m.b.H. > TechLab, Thomas A.
